The Redington Beaches consist of Redington Shores, North Redington Beach and Redington Beach. Each town is a small, independent beach community with its own flavor. Referred to as the Million Dollar Mile Redington Beach is known for its luxurious Gulf front homes. This exquisite town, population 1,500, has no public beach facilities or commercial businesses within the city, thus creating a very private, residential atmosphere. North Redington Beach, population 1139, is known for its alluring mixture of scrumptuous eateries, unique shops and fine hotels. Properties are mainly condominiums on the beach and single family homes on the Intracoastal. With six public beach accesses, locals and vistiors can enjoy the refreshing Gulf waters. Redington Shores has a large public beach and a population of about 2,500 which doubles in winter. Famous for its excellent fishing pier, which extends 1,021 feet into the Gulf, the pier offers experts and amateurs the chance to hook grouper, mackerel, pompano and the like. Properties vary from mid and high-rise condos, townhomes and houses on the Gulf and the Intracoastal.
