Belleair Beach is a two-mile long community situated between Sand Key, to the North and Indian Rocks Beach, to the South. It is accessible directly from the mainland via the scenic Belleair Causeway. The one mile long causeway draws a mecca of activities with its abundant tropical views and refreshing breezes. Walking, jogging, windsurfing, sunbathing, swimming, jet skiing, fishing are just some of the numerous activities that make the causeway popular. In addition, a multi boat launch and supply store are located on the east end of the causeway. With its pristine ivory beaches, Belleair Beach is almost entirely residential. As a result of the zoning laws, there are only a handful of hotels and no shops or restaurants. With little tourism and few businesses, this town (population about 2,000) has a very quiet atmosphere. Properties consist of majestic waterfront homes, gulf front condominiums and non-waterfront homes that range from entirely original to completely renovated. All of the beach accesses are private and the community is dedicated to preserving a quiet, residential life on the island. |
